Canon Singapore today unveiled its new high definition LEGRIA HF M and HF R series that allow users to directly share their videos on social networking sites, without the need to transfer them to a PC.
Offering Full HD recording in a compact and lightweight body, the new camcorders offer consumers new features like Wi-Fi connectivity, the option to capture videos in MP4 or AVCHD file format and full Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) certification to support the sharing of videos through DLNA-certified HDTVs and mobile devices.
The Canon LEGRIA HF R36 features Wi-Fi (transfer your images wirelessly to PC, FTP, Facebook or Youtube uploading) and MP4 recording, packed with a powerful 51x advance zoom in the HF R series ensure that users can easily capture the action anywhere, even from far distances. It has an Optical Intelligent IS to enhance video stability capturing. You can plan and organize scenes thematically with Story Creator and Cinema-Look Filters to reflect different moods (9 different “looks” (Standard / Vivid / Dream / Cool / Nostalgic / Sepia / Old Movies / Memory / Dramatic B & W).
A 7.5 cm touch screen, smart auto and face detection is also available on the camcorder. Built-in with 8GB flash memory with extendable card slot.
Identical features from the HF R series with the Wi-Fi and MP4 recording, Cinema Style, the HF M series has an enhanced version of Canon’s HD CMOS PRO sensor to deliver uncompromised professional-quality full HD video, even in extreme low-light conditions. Built-in with 32GB flash memory and extendable card slot. A new Audio Scene Select mode that streamlines the selection of custom audio options.
The new Canon WP-V4 Waterproof Case helps protect the HF M series camcorders from water for depths of up to 130 feet or 39.6 metres, allowing users to capture exciting HD footage even underwater.
Canon Legria HF R36 is priced at SGD $999 and Canon Legria M52 is at SGD $1,549, available for purchase through Canon Singapore.
