When you’re slick with sweat and your muscles ache, it’s a sign that you’ve pushed yourself forward. Training is not just a hobby, it’s your way of life. Skullcandy knows how important music is to a good workout, and their Sport Performance Collection has all your needs in check.
The earbuds, Method, features a high-intensity bud that combines comfort and stability. Your body will move to the rhythm of the beat, and your power soundtrack will stream seamlessly.

To maintain hygiene, Pureclean housings and ear gels will keep your ears fresh and germ free.
Most importantly, the Method is equipped with Supreme Sound technology, giving you punchy, powerful bass; warm, natural vocals, and precision highs that sound clean and spacious.

Retailing at SGD49.90, Skullcandy Method is available in Stereo Electronics, Runners Edge, and Popular Bookstore.

Design and sound comes together in T7, Bowers & Wilkins’ first Bluetooth speaker. However, sound takes first priority – as with everything the label does – and T7 has the honour of featuring the first commercially available application of Bowers & Wilkins Micro Matrix technology.
This technology takes a leaf out of the Matrix internal bracing used in the reference 800 Series Diamond loudspeakers – the same ones found in Abbey Road Studios. T7 also features the Micro Matrix™ honeycomb structure, which provides substantial cabinet stiffening and a solid platform for the T7’s drive units.
T7 also uses two (patent-pending) force-cancelling high-output bass radiators to extend low frequencies, which helps deliver staggering range, depth and richness. Thanks to the company’s acoustic engineers, the T7 comes with highly optimised 50mm drive units. If you’re worried about the sound transfer, don’t. With the aptX Bluetooth, your favourite track remains in high-definition quality.
Encased in a minimalist interface, the buttons are kept to the essentials. They are unobtrusive and supported by a unique collection of audio cues developed in collaboration with Mira Calix, an international composer, artist, and performer who works with sound across a range of formats.
The T7 is a size of a hardback book, and is designed to be picked up and carried everywhere with you. It has an 18-hour lifespan, heavy-duty stability, and a rubber surround, adding protection to your sleek, quality portable speaker.
T7 is available in store, Millennia Walk or 161 Lavender Street, and is retailing for SGD590.

Bang & Olufsen (B&O) has a new addition to its family: B&O PLAY’s first Bluetooth speaker, Beoplay A2. Beoplay A2 is above all else, a beautiful product. The powerful, ultra portable Bluetooth speaker and its 360 degrees of ground breaking sound is enveloped in a cool Scandinavian elegance – a unique flat design with two rugged polymer shells, a rock solid aluminium core, and a short, exchangeable premium leather strap.
What makes it so desirable though, is its unprecedented 24 hours of battery life, giving you the freedom to enjoy great music whenever and wherever you want. Talk about a great first product! It also breaks another first, being the product that features the world’s first omni-directional sound solution for a flat speaker, True360.
Making that even better is that BeoPlay A2 is a two-channel speaker – with two channels on each side of the device applying a new Bang & Olufsen solution called “Power Response Enhancement”. It includes an extra tweeter on the rear side ofthe main driver that gives you a more even high frequency radiation around the edges.

Beginning your journey to a healthy lifestyle can be confusing at first. The numbers, the dos and don’ts, and being more conscious about your choices does get easier but there’s no harm in getting a little help. Jawbone, a company that produces wearable devices powered by data science, has released its newest products – the UP MOVE and UP3 Bands.
Their innovative UP system provides consumers information about their own body. UP MOVE is a new, easy-to-use activity tracker that monitors your steps, how much you exercise, and calories you burn. It gives you insight into your weight loss and health regime while also capturing detailed information about your sleep (if you wear it to bed that is!).
Made from a durable, nylon-like anodised aluminum, UP MOVE comes in five brilliant colours with corresponding clips so you can easily fasten it anywhere, be it the coin pocket of your jeans or clipped to your sock, belt, or undergarment. Colourful hypoallergenic wrist straps are also available in two widths, slim and standard, allowing you to wear UP MOVE on your wrist and mix and match it with your personal accessories.
The UP3 Bands on the other hand, is a multi-sensor activity that provides an even deeper understanding of your activities. It collects and analyses a wide range of biometric signals, giving you detailed information on your heart like resting heart rate and changes your heart go through over time, sleep stages like REM, and helps you identify and keep track of your activities, from tennis to cross-training.
Designed by leading industrial designer, Yves Behar, UP3 features a slim, stylish, and low-profile design that you can accessorise with jewelry or watches on the wrist. An understanding of your diet, sleep, and physical activities will hopefully motivate you to reach your personal goals of drinking eight glasses of water in a day or taking 2,500 more steps!
UP MOVE comes in five colours (Black, Fog, Purple, Red Punch, Yellow) and will retail for SGD85. It will be in stores before Christmas this year. UP3 comes in two colours (Black Diamond, Silver Cross) and will retail for SGD288. It will be in stores by early next year.

“Giant Mini” might be an oxymoron, but it’s no less than accurate when it comes to Noontec’s latest release. The Giant Mini is actually a card-sized power bank which, despite its size, holds a 10, 000mAh power capacity!
Designed with a matte polished surface to reduce visible finger print marks, the Giant Mini weighs only 240 grams and is able to fit into most bags. Expounding on the “Giant” part of the deal is its usage of the state-of-the-art power batteries generally used in electric cars. Plus, this power battery increases its efficiency during power transfers.
Apart from the petite power bank, Noontec has also launched Polo, a lightweight mobile battery pack featuring 5,600mAh battery capacity with dual charging USB ports. Weighing at just 120 grams, Polo might just be one of the lightest portable chargers in the market today. Polo features built-in circuitry which provides protection from over-current, over-charging and over-discharge.
The Noontec “Giant Mini” retails at SGD89 and the Noontec”Polo” mobilebattery pack retails at SGD49. They are now available at Epilife, HMW, Mustafa, Lucky Store, Changi Airport (T3 – Electronics Hub and T2 – iSound).

FiiO has launched the X1 Portable High-Resolution Lossless Music Player. It’s a mouthful, but no doubt a Digital Audio Player that’ll enhance your listening experience.
Firstly, you save time. There is no longer a need to reformat your songs as the X1 supports five major lossless music formats: APE, FLAC, WAV, WMA, ALAC plus MP3, ACC, OGG and more.
Secondly, the X1 uses a high-quality Texas Instruments’ DAC chip that provides you clear and crisp sound. This DAC chip surpasses those on smartphones, giving you a reason to keep your smartphone and music device separate. Additionally, the X1 also employs Intersil’s amplifier buffer which promises quality amplification.
Keeping to the classic scroll wheel+X key group layout (a feature you see on the X5), FiiO’s latest product has an operating system allows you to browse, play songs, and add them by batches to playlists. Convenient shortcut buttons have also been included to make the process efficient and quick.
Made of light durable aluminium alloys, the X1 also has a Micro SD card slot supporting the largest card sizes of up to 128GB and is able to give you 12-15hrs of playback time in a single charge.
The FiiO X1 is available in Silver, Champagne (in stores end of October 2014) and is retailing at HMV Marina Square, Jaben at The Adelphi, TREOO, Headphone Gallery, and Authorised FiiO Resellers for SGD159.
