“I’ve been with the Zouk family for 23 years and counting and have seen the club grow from its humble beginnings to the most recent acquisition by the Genting HK conglomerate. 2016 has been an exciting one, with our brand extending regionally with the ZoukOut asset being launched in various editions and formats in Boracay, Tokyo and Hong Kong. I am honored to be part of this closing campaign of Jiak Kim and definitely excited for the club’s move to Clarke Quay. It marks yet another milestone for the brand and I’m confident that this is just the start to even greater things, both locally, regionally and globally” — Benny Heng, Managing Director of Zouk Singapore.
Zouk Singapore is set to carry forth its legacy with its move from Jiak Kim Street to Clarke Quay. Famed as the institution that propelled the dance music movement, the home to all dance music lovers and the rite of passage for all revelers in Singapore, Zouk Singapore has called Jiak Kim its home for the past 25 years.
Following the establishment’s first ever fun run, The Zouk Run, Zouk will be bringing back a series of all-time favourite party nights as part of its closing campaign including Mambo Jambo (30 November), Readyset Glo (25 November), and Balearic (18 November) to commemorate the countless laser-dazzled and confetti-drenched celebrations at the iconic Jiak Kim complex.
“All good things must come to an end, for better and bigger amazing things to happen. It is definitely with a heavy heart that we bid goodbye to Jiak Kim, but we are also very excited for the big move and to share the new spaces and create new experiences. As part of our closing campaign of #ZoukAtJiakKim, we will be bringing back some key music nights that helped to shape Zouk over the past 25 years, through generations of club kids and Zoukettes. This November will be momentous, memorable and the last chance for a last dance at Jiak Kim. See you on the dance floor.” says Sofie Chandra, Head of Marketing and Event of Zouk Singapore.

In conjunction with the momentous shift from Jiak Kim Street to Clarke Quay, Zouk has collaborated with Italian footwear brand, Superga to launch a limited edition sneaker to commemorate the move.
