We adore brands with a rebel spirit embedded in their very core. The latest one that just arrived on our shore this month is Hanz de Fuko, a label championing quality hair products from San Francisco.
Founders David Alfonso and Christopher Zent were creative renegades whose mission is to challenge the status quo of hair products in the market. The concept was to create amazing, one-of-a-kind hair care products that would also serve as a wonderful testament to the artist in all of us. It was about having fun, living with purpose and staying true to yourself – to always view things outside of their common usefulness and see if they can be re-worked, re-invented or re-defined.
Each Hanz De Fuko product is manufactured in the U.S.A, and made with certified organic ingredients and 100% natural plant extracts. The product range includes shampoo, conditioner and various styling products such as Quicksand, Claymation, Modify Pomade, Hybridized Wax and Sponge Wax.
Quicksand – This groundbreaking formulation adds amazing texture and hold with ZERO shine, breathing new life into oily, slept-on hair.
Claymation – Made with a touch of Quicksand, this incredible, ‘clay-wax’ hybrid provides super high-hold with ultimate pliability for achieving perfect, semi-matte hairstyles.
Modify Pomade – Old school pomade with a modern day twist! This lightweight, medium-hold formulation will keep your favourite classic look firmly in place with tremendous shine.
Hybridized Wax – This water-based wax with medium hold is made for edgy hair experiments. Whether you’re aiming for a smooth or heavily textured hairstyle, this product goes on clean without residue.
Sponge Wax – This matte finish, high-hold wax combines the pliability of a pomade with the staying power of a gel. Perfect for textured, bed-head looks to more polished coifs.
Hanz De Fuko is available in Singapore at hair salons (Next the Salon, Kizuki and The Panic Room), via online retailers (Luxola, Newman, Savron Select Co, Ygmasions, Dashsmith and Great Grooming Fix) and physical retailers (Moley Apparels, Naiise and MyBox).
