In this iPhone dominated world, non-smart phones are becoming rare finds than its smart counterpart. John’s Doe from Amsterdam brought us John’s Phone – the world’s simplest cell phone. As John said: you call, you hang up, and that’s it.
There are no frills and no unnecessary features such as a camera, text messaging and an endless number of ringtones. It’s the no-contract cell phone with large keys and more than 3 weeks standby time.
The back of the phone features a small opening with an address book and pen (yes, not stylus, not touchscreen, it is a ‘book’ and a ‘pen’). John prided that two unique features allow you to use even when your phone is switched off. (yeah.. one can’t emphasize the simplicity any more than that)
Before you start going “Oh, my gosh! That belongs to dinosaurs’ age”, do check out the design of John’s Phone. It does looks real cute. It’s a different class from that those that you can find in our 7-Eleven stores. For the guys, perhaps you could perhaps consider this device on your next nation serving mission.
John’s Phone is 10.5 centimetres in height, 6 centimetres in length and 1.5 centimetres in width (4.1”/2.4”/0.6”). Weight: 95 grams.
Priced at USD 100, get it online atwww.johnsphones.com.
Paypal, Visa & Mastercard are accepted.
If you really can’t find any reason for this phone, consider it for your grandma & grandpop.
