In celebration of sport, youth and human potential, Nike brings the best in product innovations and digital sport to the heart of Southeast Asia. The Nike+ innovation space is a showcase of design and technology, where inspiration meets innovation, allowing visitors to discover and interact with products, and to be part of ‘Game On, World’ (#gameonworld).
Visitors will be able to view some of Nike’s most revolutionary performance innovations that will be featured at the London Olympics, including the Nike Pro TurboSpeed and Nike Zoom Spikes at Track & Field competitions, and the revolutionary Nike Flyknit technology.
Running enthusiasts in Singapore can also clock miles by participating in the following events:
Participants will run a 2km route in Orchard using Nike+ GPS mapping function.
Dates: 27 July, 3 August, 10 August (Fridays)
Time: 2pm – 8pm
Goddess Night (for ladies)
Dates: 25 July, 1 August, 8 August (Wednesdays)
Time: 6.30 – 8pm
– Sports doctor and nutritionists will touch on health issues specifically for women.
– A Nike Training Club session to be led by a Nike athlete.
– Styling session to pick up styling tips on running/training ensembles with a talk on choosing the right sports bra.
– A 3km run at the end of the session.
Runners who would like to do a good deed while engaging in their favourite sport can also participate in ‘RUN TO GIVE’. This involves Nike contributing a pair of shoes to AG Home for Girls for every 20km clocked. The Nike+ innovation space is located at 180 Orchard Road, Peranakan Place Level 2. From now till 12 August 2012, it is opened daily from 11am to 10pm. Admission is free. Selected Nike products including the latest collections will be available at the Nike pop-up store within the Nike+ innovation space.
