Street Mode: Tokyo Summer Whites

With temperatures hitting around 30°C in Tokyo this week, we can safely say that Summer is still in full swing here! People are opting for the refreshing choice of all-white outfits, playing with different fabrics, textures, cuts, donning every shade of white you can imagine and even adding a bit of DIY magic into the mix. Let’s see how some of the locals take their monotone outfits to the next level…

Iai, 21, Office Worker – We love how Iai has combined his Cosmic Wonder pants with his handmade top and bag. And check out those awesome DIY cut-out Converse high-tops.

Rina, 19, Student – Add the tiniest touch of color to your all-white outfit with some bright red dip dye hair and subtle hair accessories.

Aya, 18, Student – Dig out those vintage pieces and play around with mixing cream and ivory whites with subtle prints.

Risa, 23, Stylist – We love how Risa has combined her cotton dress with light knitted outerwear to create that textured but still light and summery feel.

Saori, 23, Student – Wearing a textured dress from the Japanese brand Earth Music & Ecology, Saori dresses up this summer look with some cute braids and a straw hat.
