The annual book fair was set to happen on 27 March – 5 April 2020 but like all plans in 2020, it was first postponed and then cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Luckily, the 39th Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (KLIBF) 2020 has decided to go online from 25 June – 8 July 2020!

Gather your bookworm friends on Zoom! The KLIFB 2020 will be hosted by Shopee and feature more than 140 booksellers with over 30,000 book titles. This is the first time in KLIBF history that it will be held online. A game-changer for the book industry in Malaysia.
Gear up on their social media as well because there will be literary discussions conducted. Other than that, join their virtual daily contests to win free books and game vouchers! The KLIBF was first held 1982 but became international in 1991. Since then, without fail, the annual event hosts about two million visitors each year.
