Celebrated R&B singer Bruno Mars performing in Singapore in April 2024

The man, the myth, the legend himself, Bruno Mars, will be gracing Singaporeans this April.

Live Nation will be hosting Bruno’s return to Singapore at the National Stadium on April 5th!

Singapore only really gets one or two major acts performing a year, so if you are interested, quickly get tickets now! (read after the introduction)

Required Introduction To Bruno Mars

For those living under a rock, let me help you catch up to all the hype.

Bruno Mars is one of the best pop musicians commercially for around a decade already. His first album in 2010, Doo-Wops & Hooligans was incredibly popular. It spawned singles like ‘Just The Way You Are‘, ‘Grenade‘, ‘The Lazy Song‘ and ‘Talking To The Moon‘. Also, successful collaborations on ‘Nothin’ On You’ and ‘Billionaire‘ rose him to stardom.

Ever since, Mars is that one guy you’re guaranteed to hear on the radio, or while you’re scrolling through TikTok. In fact, every album he drops will have 2 or 3 songs that’ll be trending all month that I wouldn’t be able to list all of them! You probably subconsciously know them anyway.

Mars has has remained relevant and critically-acclaimed over the next 14 years. I believe that it is because of him adapting to current trends in music and adding his own spin. His first album had a reggae-pop vibe to it, alongside elements of R&B. Unorthodox Jukebox (2012) was more dancey and electronic, 24K Magic (2016) was energetic, had hip-hop and R&B influences and just colourful, if I could describe it.

His latest album, An Evening with Silk Sonic (2021), was a collaboration effort with rapper Anderson .Paak. It focused straight on nostalgia, with it’s main influence being 1970s soul. ‘Leave the Door Open’ is his most recent hit, and probably one of many songs you can expect for the concert!

Concert Details

As said before, 5th of April, National Stadium. The concert will start at 8pm that day, and probably last 3 or 4 hours. Expect the hits and have the time of your life there!
