As we enter July 2020, and Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO), theatres and cinemas are now permitted to operate again! To commemorate the occasion, local theatrical project Liver & Lung Productions is bringing back ‘Sepet: The Musical’ to the big stage.
With back-to-back sold out weekends for their debut last year, this revival and tribute to the late Yasmin Ahmad is one not to miss. If you loved the musical when it was streamed live back in May on YouTube, you get to relive it right before your eyes next month. The show will go across 3 weekends; 7 – 9 August, 14 – 16 August and 21 – 23 August at GMBB Mall, Bukit Bintang.
For 1 hour and 45 minutes, experience the heartbreak and happiness of this Malaysian romance all over again. On top of that, for the first time ever, Liver & Lung Productions will play not one, but two musicals! ‘Songs Inspired by A Little Life’ brings the novel by Hanya Yanagihara to life in a perfect blend of singing and acting.
