ByCanary is a new digital-first fine jewellery label set to launch on 8 September 2020 with eight core collections and a designer collaboration. Inspired by the aspirational personalities of today, the brand seeks to offer their clients modular, affordable options to start building a collection of high quality stylish and expressive jewellery that grows with them.
Launched and helmed by the veteran team at The Canary Diamond Co, ByCanary is a conscious, socially and environmentally responsible label that offers decades of industry know-hows, craftsmanship, and access to ethically-sourced gems and recycled fine metals. Taking a stand in giving back to the community, 10% of profits from all designer collaboration collections will be donated to a charity organisation of the designer’s choice.
With the aim of not only addressing the gap in the region’s jewellery market for trendy designs, the founders of ByCanary also set out to pioneer high quality and environmentally conscious pieces by tapping on technological advancements to cater to an increasingly astute generation of shoppers. As such, their jewellery are designed not just to offer you an avenue for creativity and self-expression, but are also a symbol for the causes you fight for.

Excited to be pushing the envelope of fine jewellery designs and reinventing the wheel through cross-industry collaborations, ByCanary is proud join hands with Malaysian footwear designer, stylish entrepreneur, and mother-of-three, Ung Yiu Lin for their first collaboration.

Inspired by Yiulin’s own style and lifestyle as a mother and a business woman, this collection is an ode to the modern woman who buys her own diamonds and wears them as an expression of who she chooses to be in any occasion.

From the White Gold Pear Head (SGD6,500) with a detachable centrepiece – which you may secure to the band of your choice – to the asscher-shaped diamond studs (SGD5,900) in 18K black gold, this collection is flexible enough to suit your mood depending on which band or add-ons you feel like sporting for the day.
On average, the Yiulin X ByCanary collection retails from SGD4,000 for earrings to SGD29,800 for necklaces. True to their belief that a successful company has a responsibility to the greater community, 10% of profits from this collection will go to the Dignity for Children Foundation in supporting their education.

Also from the collection is the Green Amethyst Diamond Ring (SGD4,600) made from 18K white gold with a 12.65ct centre stone and features 68 round diamonds for an enlivening twist to your ensemble.
