Converse is launching one of its biggest street offering of the year – the CONS Weapon collection – with a creative campaign in collaboration with sneaker boutique Limited Edt in Singapore.
Heading the campaign with a theme of creativity being used as a weapon, Converse has engaged two local artists, who go by their monikers Lazy (Tony Tay) and Twisted Joe (Joe Cher), to create an art installation each. Lazy’s artwork is based on music and art while Twisted Joe’s artwork is based on style and skate. Both art installations will be displayed at Limited Edt Vault 313 @ Somerset till end August 2014, together with a display of the CONS Weapon sneakers.
In conjunction with the campaign, a CONS Weapon Instagram contest will also be held from 26 July to 31 August 2014. Consumers will need to snap pictures of the two installations displayed at Limited Edt Vault 313 @ Somerset, post them on Instagram with the hashtag #consweaponsg. The Instagrammer with most combined likes for his/her pictures will win an exclusive CONS Weapon Package.
Additionally, the first 20 consumers who purchased a pair of CONS Inline Weapon sneakers at Limited Edt Vault 313 @ Somerset will receive a CONS EP Vol. 1 vinyl.
