A hotel you’ve never experienced before – Converse opens the door to its One Star Hotel in London for the purpose of exhibiting sneakers. The Converse One Star Hotel featured two days of the freshest sounds, style & sneakers served with a smile.The pop-up hotel is designed to “unite London’s sneaker, skate, fashion and music communities and offer a glimpse into the ’90s attitude that helped define the One Star’s adoption today,” says the brand.
The space spans across five levels and it reveals six rooms with experiences bringing together sneaker, skate, fashion, and music, reflecting the brand’s One Star collection. The lobby is manned by a 15-year-old streetwear enthusiast, Gully Guy Leo. The hotel includes “guest rooms” that house opportunities for digital, product, and live experiences, all curated by Converse collaborators such as Yung Lean, A$AP Nast, fashion label MadeMe, and Tizzy T.
The hotel will also offer new releases of the One Star and re-ups of coveted versions.
For those who take a liking for pastel colors, “Stepped into Sweetness”, one of the six rooms is described as an instagrammable bedroom of cotton candy color, sound and taste, it will feature the pastel colors of the latest One Star Premium Suede shoes which will be released next month.
