This November, the DC skate team will embark on the second annual and highly anticipated DC DEFY CONVENTION TOUR 2014! The tour will bring these DC Shoe-clad skaters to South East Asian countries like The Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.
Look forward to get up close and personal with the world’s best skateboarders including Matt Miller, Wes Kremer, Madars Apse, Felipe Gustavo, and Kota Ikeda. Local skaters will also have a chance to compete on the skate courses for cash and prizes.
Differing from last year’s Tour, the 2014 Tour will feature some of the region’s biggest bands and DJ’s playing before and after each demo. Each demo will take place in a different venue, from purpose built skate parks in huge stadiums in Jakarta to traditional skate parks in Kuala Lumpur and finishing with custom built skate parks in the largest malls of Manila and Bangkok.
The DC DEFY CONVENTION TOUR 2014 dates and stops are as follows:
31st October 2014 : Senayan Basketball Stadium, Hall A, 5PM, Jakarta – Indonesia
2nd November 2014 : Mont Kiara Skate Park, 5PM, Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia
5th November 2014 : Mall of Asia, 5PM, Manila – The Philippines
8th November 2014 : Amarin Plaza, 2PM, Bangkok – Thailand
