Fresh from their visit in Indonesia, three pro-skaters from DC will be sharing the tips and tricks of skateboarding with fellow Singaporean skaters. The iconic skateboarding brand has organised multiple skate tours, including a similar visit to our little red dot last year.
This Tuesday, 13 May 2014, Jake Hayes, Bugs Fardell, and Casey Ainsworth will be showing off some tricks at the Somerset Skate Park. The event will start at 3pm, with the skaters signing merchandises and meeting folks who are as crazy about skateboarding as they are. Bring one merchandise each, get it sign, and get a poster! As if getting up close with your idols’ not enough, each person will also receive one $10 DC voucher – new shoes anyone?
DC knows their fans have some rad tricks of their own though, and the top three participants who can show off their best flips, ollies, or whatever you guys have in mind, will get a pair of DC shoes each. Since there’s only three up for grabs, show them the best you’ve got! Before you meet the guys, get to know them and their skateboards a little bit better by watching these videos.
The DC team visit will kick off with a signing and meet and greet session at 3pm, and at 4.30pm it’s all fun with a skate demo. Meanwhile, check out what went down during last year’s skate tour.
