Good news for Deezer fans! This 19 March 2015, Deezer will start its first phase of Deezer Elite, bringing High Definition Audio to all audiophiles and music fans.
Following the US launch of the service in Fall 2014, Deezer Elite users can now access quality sound on the Sonos system. In technical terms, that means an FLAC quality of 1,411 kbps – a significant jump from the usual 320kbps or lower MP3 format.
Other features that Deezer Elite users can enjoy include listening to music on other devices such as smartphones, tablets and TVs, discovering new music through FLOW and other Deezer radio offerings, and access to the largest music catalogue in the world (we’re talking 35 million songs!).
Fun facts! Deezer was the first High Definition music streaming service in Singapore, and Deezer Elite makes the site the biggest global high definition streaming service available in more than 150 countries, including Singapore.
Current Deezer Premium users and listeners on Sonos will be able to upgrade at no additional cost with an annual subscription. New users will be charged a fee, although pricing specifics will only be announced once Deezer Elite launches on 19 March 2015.
