Following its Autumn/Winter 2012 Plastic Surgery collection, Depression is back to start the new year with a collection based on a different state of physical unwell. Inspired by dizzy spells, the Spring/Summer 2013 Blackout collection features odd-shaped pieces that mimic bumps and bruises. Graphic prints that are portrayed in motion-blur effects cheekily reflect the moment before a person passes out. Colours follow an equestrian theme, contrasting the neon brights of the unicorn against the monochromatic zebra.
All apparels are made from rayon, cotton, spandex and polyester while shoes and bags are crafted from a mix of high quality calf leather and canvas.
Scaling their way up the ladder in the fashion realm, Depression’s two-man show, Kenny and Andrew, wasted no time in revealing the SS13 Blackout collection to the media and fashion gurus. The collection was paraded down the runway at the Seoul Fashion Week in October and at a recent HTC x Depression showcase.
Depression is located at Cineleisure Orchard #03-05A Singapore.
