Today, CONVERSE Inc. releases the animated music video for “DoYaThing.”
It is part of Converse’s ongoing Three Artists. One Song series. The genre-blending original single was written, recorded and produced by the world-famous musicians Gorillaz, Andre 3000, one half of Grammy-award winning duo Outkast and producer and DJ James Murphy, the mastermind behind LCD Soundsystem and DFA Records. Directed by award-winning designer and Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett, the music video fuses the animated world of Gorillaz with real life footage. The 5.05 minute video features the animated Gorillaz members Murdoc, 2-D, Noodle and Russel along with Hewlett’s graphic interpretations of Andre 3000 and James Murphy.
The music video for “DoYaThing” is also streaming at www.converse.com/doyathing alongside the track, which is available to music fans globally via free download.
