For the second year running, Tippling Club will be supporting the i-India 2017 Summer Soiree, by sponsoring food and drinks to cater for the annual fundraising event.
Organised by UWCSEA East Campus ‘Colours of India’ Global Concern, in conjunction with Friends of i-India, the fundraiser aims to ensure the continuation of the food program in three of i-India’s shelter homes for underprivileged children for the next year, and fund two school teachers’ annual salaries.
Held on Saturday, 10 June 2017 from 7.00pm onwards, the i-India 2017 Summer Soiree unfolds at a stunning private residence in the Bukit Timah area, in a night of music, dancing, laughter and feasting.
Providing the evening’s entertainment is Australian comedian Jonathan Atherton, who joins Tippling Club in serving up an evening of gut-wrenching laughs and modern day gastronomy.
In addition to sponsoring all the food and drinks for the event, Chef-Owner Ryan Clift will be personally helming the kitchen with his team, to cook for the guests.
“Coming from a Western country, we tend to take most things for granted. But for these kids, something as simple as a shower is hard to come by. It is amazing to witness the work and effort that i-India has put into supporting the homeless children of India, and I am humbled to once again be a part of this endeavour,” affirms Clift, who has been an i-India supporter since 2012.
Clift will also be working with the restaurant’s partners and suppliers to secure charity auction prizes such as luxury wines, high-end home appliances, deluxe spa treatments and dining vouchers, to help raise funds for the charity.
The i-India 2017 Summer Soiree is happening on Saturday, 10 June from 7.00pm onwards at 1 Denham Close. Dress code is cocktail casual.
