We love anything that’s quirky and cool so we are pleased to announce that Mystic Vintage is releasing two art-themed eyewear collections! Drawing inspiration from vibrant art capitals around the world, Mystic Vintage releases Flinders, the first of the art-themed eyewear collection, which was inspired by the art district surrounding Flinders Street Station in Melbourne.
One of Flinders’s key design features is the metal arc placed across the frames. The arc recalls the distinctive design of early 18th century eyewear, where only a simple arched bridge connected the eye rims.
Witty lines by iconic artists, such as “In the future everyone will be famous for 15 minutes” – Andy Warhol and “I don’t do drugs. I am drugs.” – Salvador Dali, are engraved on the temples of each frame, making this eyewear collection cooler than it already is.
