This spring/summer, Fred Perry presents the second instalment of the Bella Freud Blank Canvas collection that is released under the brand’s Laurel Wreath umbrella. Drawing on the heritage of Fred Perry and Bella’s idiosyncratic style, this capsule collection looks to the Jamaican Diaspora and the natty styling of authentic British items. Retro sportswear styles combine a modern casual feel. Gold embroidered stars nod to the decorative military regalia that adorns the clothes of Reggae music stars, like Scratch Perry.
The mood is Dancehall with its upbeat energy and playful styling: 80’s look Tricot tracksuits in white, black and pink; a red sleeveless knit mini dress. The signature Word jumper for this season is black cotton with Dancehall embroidered around an intarsia circle.
