For the musically-inclined shoppers or the ones who are fans of the fifties, be delighted as Fred Perry Spring Summer 2014 Men’s Authentic Collection takes inspiration from 45 RPM records and 80s record designs. This vinyl-inspired collection applies details from records to classic Fred Perry styles, of which each piece is designed with graphic and colour references of collectable singles and 80s Ska boy styling.
A key piece from this collection is the 45’s Engineered Strip Shirt. Inspired by design details found on early 80s record designs, this slim fit, two button tennis shirt with engineered stripe details features a top black button designed to replicate the centre of a ’45 vinyl. There is also a pop of colour to the underside of the placket and the shirt is finished with the iconic Laurel Wreath embroidery.
Other pieces in this collection include a monochrome graphic knit shirt, a houndstooth stripe cardigan and a checkerboard trim shirt.
