After the debut of their first album Night Visions (and the very infectious Radioactive) in 2012, Imagine Dragons has bagged a Grammy Award, two American Music Awards, and five Billboard Music Awards. Surely, it is not an exaggeration to say that fans have been anticipating for a sophomore collection.
Smoke + Mirrors is the recently released second album, and already, the first single “I Bet My Life” is at Top 5 at Modern Rock radio. The 13-track album has also been dubbed a “modern pop-rock gem” by Britain’s Q magazine.
Accompanying this release is the music video for “Shots”, which was directed by Robert Hales (Alicia Keyes, Jack White, Gnarls Barkley). The video was inspired by the album artwork created by San Diego based painter Tim Cantor and features lead vocalist Dan Reynolds, guitarist Wayne Sermon, bassist Ben McKee, and drummer Daniel Platzman rockin’ it out like the winners they are.
