Toy Makers Mighty Jaxx held an urban art show in Singapore, showcasing the first ever Singaporean designed and produced vinyl art toy, the Hell Lotus. In addition to that, they invited 42 local and international artists to contribute their own artworks inspired by the Hell Lotus design.
The other artist showcased many different looks inspired from the Hell Lotus design utilizing different mediums of art to showcase the different looks, from the platform of a skateboard to the traditional use of a canvas.
A ‘live’ graffiti was done by the artist Clogtwo, showcasing the inspiration behind the hell lotus design. The 2.5m X 2.5m artwork was auctioned off to the highest bidder and the proceeds went to charity.
Where art and music collide, this urban art show has taken new waves across the streets, taking something old and bringing something new to the table, Hell Lotus has delivered us a fresh look on vinyl toys.
Mighty Jaxx has recently opened up a pop-up concept store, LARK, to showcase their works of the past, present and future to let people explore further into the stories.
The artworks are now available for viewing at LARK, located at 71 Sultan Gate Arts Village.
