HyperGrand has finally debuted its collection of watches, claiming the honour of being the first brand to turn the NATO watch strap into a canvas for graphic art.
A darling to the wrists of accessory-lovers, HyperGrand’s 01 NATO watch bears a changeable strap that possesses a personality of its own. All 12 straps from the label’s debut collection were painstakingly designed with a quirky story behind each of them. The distinctive construct of the NATO strap allows it to be strapped on and taken off a watch face, without any tools.
And did you know – the NATO strap was invented by the British military and popularised by James Bond (played by Sean Connery) when he wore it in Goldfinger as a fashion statement?
HyperGrand watches are powered by a Japanese Miyota 3-hand movement and waterproof to 3ATMs. They are made with double layered dials for enhanced legibility and stainless steel casebacks. The proprietary fine-weaved NATO strap allows higher resolution prints and are fixed with stainless steel hardware (loops and buckles).
The HyperGrand collection is available at Club21b, The Society of Black Sheep, Konzepp, Bien Store, Sup Clothing, Twoori and Editor’s Market. Each watch retails at SGD160 while each additional strap retails at SGD49.
