Violette Wautier had made a name for herself in the music scene when she gave an audition to remember for Season 2 of The Voice Thailand in 2013. Since then, it is all uphill for her music and acting careers.
Wautier began her journey recording original songs for several films and television series. She then explored acting, going on to winning Best Supporting Actress for her performances in Heart Attack (2015) and A Gift (2016). In a few short years, Wautier rose to become a familiar face in the Thai entertainment industry. As of 2020, she has released chart-topping singles, acted in numerous projects and landed several product endorsements contracts!
In 2018, Wautier had decided to release her first English single, ‘Drive’. Not long after, ‘Smoke’, her second single, was released. To date, the music video for ‘Smoke’ has crossed over 60 million views on YouTube. The single is also ranked No. 1 on the Apple Music Chart in eight countries, including Singapore and Malaysia, at the time of release.
Now, be prepared because Wautier is back with a brand new single ‘I’d Do It Again’ and an all-English album which will be dropping sooner than you think. ‘I’d Do It Again’ tells a tale of broken promises, heartbreak and love. Just a week after the release of her new single, the ‘I’d Do It Again’ MV has crossed over 1 million views to date!
