KopiPass, an app which aims to promote the café-hopping culture among Singaporeans takes cafe lovers on “Singapore’s first national café-hopping trail”, where they can enjoy more than 60 free drinks at over 60 curated cafes island-wide. Any café connoisseur can tell you that café hopping is not cheap. By the time a barista gives you the handcrafted beverage you ordered, you have spent $6, not including meals and snacks.
The firm behind the app conceptualized a pass that would help promote the café-hopping culture to the Singaporean crowd in an affordable way. With KopiPass, a simple SGD60 for an annual membership will allow users to redeem one drink per café at over 60 establishments islandwide. Users will also have a year to redeem their drinks.
KopiPass maximizes the customer’s café hopping experience, allowing them to filter out signature dishes from a thoughtfully curated list of menu options. The app will also provide instant directions to nearby eateries with the help of Google Maps integration.
The current list of partners includes cafes such as Avenue Café, Brine, The Laneway Market, Little House Of Dreams, Nook and Cranny, Toby’s Estate, Tolido’s Espresso Nook, and more. These cafes are selected based on their drinks, ambience and reviews.
This initiative has won praises from participating cafes. The Assembly Ground said that KopiPass has brought café hopping to a different level by not only allowing coffee lovers to enjoy their cuppa at a wallet friendly price but also turning it into a try-them-all adventure. It was also an added motivation for the card holders to visit and publicity for the café.
