Another year, another Laneway.
Except the festival stepped up with its star-studded lineup this year featuring Anderson Paak, The War on Drugs, Wolf Alice, and more. It saw 10,000 people in attendance, with American rapper-singer Anderson Paak’s act being the most hyped, although ten seconds into his opening song Come down, a technical glitch happened on stage.
After approximately a 10-minute delay, Paak, along with his band, The Free Nationals came back with fire and passion delivering an unforgettable act with tracks like Am I Wrong and Heart Don’t Stand A Chance.
St. Jerome Laneway Festival, running for the eighth edition was otherwise a smooth-running music festival, with the weather holding up surprisingly well. In fact, it was even nice and sunny.
Festival-goers were spotted in vintage clothing, splashes of colors, and even denim to complement the perfect weather – we are lovin’ it!
