Lazy Oaf’s 2014 Winter Collection is a mash-up of 70s psychedelia and the 90s club culture (book clubs and art clubs, anyone?). From eating cereal out of the box, watching Tom chase Jerry, and obsessing over computer games, the collection is steeped in nostalgia.
Acid house artwork and distorted block patterns play out across new streamlined shapes such as the Black Noise tunic with slit detailing and Pom Grid sweatshirt featuring 3D pom-poms. Emphasizing Lazy Oaf’s notoriously nonchalant attitude are the Not Normal and Same Day Different Shit slogans on tees.
On the other hand, the men’s collection draws inspiration from a combination of reptiles, tribal patterns and Haitian Vodou. Replicating the mating colours of a male veiled chameleon, the Midnight Lizard Puffer Jacket is one of the most outstanding pieces which encapsulate this theme.
Lazy Oaf Winter 2014 collection will be launched end of October and retail price ranges from SGD69-SGD289.
