Ever wanted to watch K-dramas and understand them without subtitles? Or sing along to your favourite K-pop songs with a heart full of meaning? This is your chance! Big Hit Entertainment has launched ‘Learn Korean with BTS’. Yes, you read that right. The biggest K-pop boy band is teaching you their native tongue!
As they began to tap into the Western music scene, they have garnered an international audience. Since then, many have requested for English subtitles in any Korean content. While catering to their fans is an importance for Big Hit Entertainment, it also works both ways!
All you have to do is download the WeVerse app (it’s free!) and watch the tutorials. They have been uploading every Monday at 9pm KST (8pm local time). The videos consist of clips of the boyband from various TV appearances where one of them will say a phrase in Korean. The video will then be rewound back and replay for you to follow!
There will be tests at the end of each videos so pay close attention to what they SAY and not to how they look (wink wink).
