British denim label Lee Cooper celebrated the launch of its exclusive pop-up store at Sup Clothing on 25 January 2013. More than 120 guests attended the party that also presented the debut of Lee Cooper’s The Makers campaign – a global lifestyle initiative that features authentic individuals whose lives revolve around old-school crafts. The Heist barber crew and analogue aficionado Meerly Wang were handpicked to be the face of the local Makers campaign.
Sup Clothing was transformed to depict a vintage British vibe for the event. The Lee Cooper pop-up store featured the label’s selvedge denim jeans, shirts and a display of the collaboration with Sup. The highlight of the evening was an old-school barber setup in Sup where the Heist barber crew offered free haircut services. A queue was formed as soon as the party began and it lasted till the DJ played the last tune.
Guests also had the opportunity to experience some analogue fun as Meerly took fascinating instant party shots throughout the evening.
With DJ Drem spinning on the deck, the party spilled onto the street of Haji Lane. Local band Klutz also performed live and entertained the crowd with British music.
The Lee Cooper X Sup pop-up store is located at Sup Clothing (34 Haji Lane, Singapore 189227). Opening hours from Mondays to Sundays is 1pm to 8pm.
