As we all know, June is known as Pride Month all over the world. In Singapore, Pink Dot SG is a non-profit movement that supports the belief that everyone deserves the freedom to love with the hope to bring LGBTQ Singaporeans closer to their family and friends.
Although Pink Dot SG will not be able to celebrate physically by holding its annual gathering to light up and form a pink dot at Hong Lim Park this year due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the organisers have decided to do it virtually this year on 27 June, 8pm, with an online concert and encouraging people to don their homes with pink fairy lights as a show of solidarity towards the cause.
