Tiger’s very own National Day Brew, the Tiger Orchid Brew, is back in bloom for the second year running to uncage positivity and instil pride in Singaporeans with a fresh new look designed by local musician and artist, Narelle Kheng.
Uncaging local pride and positivity
The Tiger Orchid Brew is a symbolic representation of Singapore’s strength and resilience. Inspired by the indomitable Singapore spirit and infused with orchids, the full-flavoured lager boasts light floral notes with a touch of citrus, making it the perfect toast to Singapore’s birthday.
Uncaging unexpected local talent
Aiming to champion local talents by providing them with a platform to shine, Tiger has once again worked with a home-grown talent to create the visually striking and symbolic Tiger Orchid Brew design. The 2021 edition sees a unique collaboration with local musician and artist Narelle Kheng as the illustrator of Tiger Orchid Brew’s cans and 4-can pack packaging. This marks Narelle’s first foray into uncaging her hidden passion in the visual arts.
With a passion for Singapore and Tiger Beer, Narelle wanted to illustrate an intersection between the joyful camaraderie of beer with her ideal of Singapore. The resulting pastel neon “fizzy jungle” represents positivity, happiness, achievement and enjoying a boldly refreshing Tiger after working hard.
The 2021 limited-edition Tiger Orchid Brew is now available in 4-can packs (recommended retail price at SGD11.70) at all leading supermarkets, mini marts, convenience stores, and online channels island-wide until 31 August. The Tiger Orchid Brew is also exclusively available in draught format at Tiger Street Lab at Jewel Changi Airport and selected Harry’s outlets from 19 July, while stocks last.
