Being the first in Asia, Limited Edt has teamed up with Hollywood-based street luxury footwear brand Android Homme in releasing it’s first exclusive collaborative sneaker.
Inspired from Android’s “Reprogram” campaign imagery with the Singapore sneaker boutique Limited Edt, the result is a neo-futuristic shoe with symbolic hieroglyphic motifs rendered from the names and colors emblems of two of Limited Edt’s most iconic stores Chamber and Vault.
Both designs feature reflective, mirror-finish leather juxtaposed against luxurious black velvet that heightens the material contrast, bridging the concepts of “Luxury”, “Futuristic” and “Symbols”.
The typographic pattern, a custom sulimated print, on neoprene spells out “VAULT” and “CHAMBER” on the ankle collar.
Of the 72 numbered editions, each pair comes with a detachable metal dog tag that can be engraved and personalized.
One Propulsion High is inspired by the Chamber and its blue turquoise neoprene heel with typographic pattern – the colorways also signify the color of the store and the ice blue and silver the Chamber room and the icy interiors.
The “Vault” version uses the famous black and red theme of the store – the silver to represent the Vault door, black velvet used on the uppers also a direct take on the velvet interior of the LE Vault store. Vault typographic clearly visible here on the Neoprene heel design.
Limited Edt x Android Homme is priced at SGD $379 and will be available on 23rd of March 2012 at L.E Chamber (Marina Bay Sands) & L.E Vault (Somerset 313).
