Nothing can get more meaningful than a noteworthy collaboration that profits the unfortunate. Love Through Design has joined forces with Nooka and Sanrio to create a limited edition Nooka Zub Zirc 38 watch to help raise money for the Sanrio Foundation and Emergency.
Creator of cult brand Tokidoki, Simone Legno, adds an enchanting touch to the collaboration as the designer of the exclusive timepiece.
Established in 2010, the Sanrio Foundation is driven by its ‘small gift, big smile’ philosophy with the mission to bring smiles to children around the world through product donations, Hello Kitty’s hospital visits and partnerships with international organizations. Since November 2012, Sanrio Foundation has been supporting the ‘right to be cured’ with Emergency, an independent and neutral humanitarian organization founded in 1994 to provide medical-surgical assistance to victims of war and poverty. Over 5 million people have received free, high quality health care. One in three was a child.
The Love Through Design X Nooka X Sanrio timepiece is available for pre-order here and will be available for shipping from 21 April 2013. Only 300 pieces are being made worldwide.
