Following the controversy regarding a documentary made recently, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah had proposed all productions of recordings and films regardless for any platforms must request for license before filming in Parliament today.
It is unsure as to when or even how this new rule will take place but it sure did caused an uproar across the neighbouring country’s nation. Many local stars and netizens alike had posted their thoughts and opinions on social media. See below!

"all filming requires a Finas license, even for personal social media."
Is it really necessary?
So I want to sing my own song on my own social media I will need a license to do so?
Please enlighten me.— 茜拉 (@Shilaamzah) July 23, 2020
