Reebok partnered with supermodel Miranda Kerr to come up with a new pair of shoes, Skyscape, that features 360 degrees of foam comfort in a fun, flirty silhouette that pairs perfectly with jeans, skirts or yoga pants.
You must be wondering, why Miranda Kerr? Well, instead of focusing on comfort underneath the shoe, Reebok wanted the user’s feet to be enveloped in comfort. Through the research process, they found inspiration in the home furnishings industry and… lingerie – specifically, moulded foam bras. Furthermore, Miranda Kerr is not only a supermodel who has to keep fit and model sexy lingerie. She’s also a mother to three-year-old Flynn. Running around all day can take a toll on a woman’s precious feet, and Miranda Kerr swears by the Skyscapes.
The upper part of the Skyscape is crafted using the same manufacturing techniques and processes as moulded foam bras, but using materials that have been optimised for the stresses and strains placed on the feet all day. The flirty lace-up silhouette comes in a broad range of colours to match any outfit or mood.
