Twice winner of the Singapore Experience Awards’ Trade Event of the Year, All That Matters is returning for their 11th annual independent music festival. Kicking off on Monday September 12, and running alongside the industry conference every evening until Thursday September 15, the Music Matters festival promises to showcase some of the most promising up and coming bands from the APAC region and beyond.
Over the 4 nights, over thirty acts will take the stage and have the opportunity to perform in front of All That Matters delegates, including leading music industry executives. As in previous years, country specific showcases from the Asia Pacific region will feature as part of the festival schedule. This year, Music Matters has partnered with top Singapore live music venue Millian as showcase partner Tuesday through Thursday. All performances are open to the public and free to attend.
Country specific showcases including the ‘Aussie BBQ’ supported by Sounds Australia also return, bringing the best in Australian talent to Singapore.
Some of the featured bands at the festival this year include New Zealand’s Album of the Year winners in 2013, Aaradhna, Australian music act The Veronicas, whose hit ‘In My Blood’ topped the Australian charts and one of Indonesia’s biggest music stars Raisa. This year Music Matters will take place from 12 to 15 September, during the week between Ultra Singapore and the 2016 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX.
Music Matters has partnered with Singapore GP to give one Music Matters act the chance to take the stage at the Marina Bay Street Circuit! They will join a stellar lineup of international superstar acts including Queen and Adam Lambert, Imagine Dragons and Kylie Minogue.
