Tough and exciting like summer blockbusters, the G-Shock G-LIDE GLX-150 and GWX-8900B show off their new silhouettes after going through a makeover for the summer. The G-LIDE GLX-150 features a new case for extra G-Shock toughness, while the GWX-8900B is housed in a larger case and offers Tide Graph functions, Atomic Timekeeping and tough solar power for long days of fun in the sun.
Similar to its predecessors, the latest GLX-150 model possesses tide/moon graph capabilities, embracing the surf and water enthusiast lifestyle. Available in matte black, white, blue or orange, the GLX-150 also includes 200M water resistance and an easy to read tide/moon data graph with contrasting LCD for the convenient tracking of high and low tides. Other functions include an auto super illuminator LED with flash alert, world time (29TZ/48 cities), two multi-function alarms and one snooze, 1/100th second stopwatch with auto-start, countdown timer 12/24 hour formats and a mute function.
The new G-Shock GWX-8900B is available in pure black or a black and white duo tone style, also featuring a tide/moon graph display on the watch face. With the surf community in mind, the GWX-8900B features the tidal movements for the top 100 surf locations all over the world. The wearer can also set up to 49 additional locations. The GWX-8900B possesses shock and 200M water resistance, operates on tough solar power, full auto super illuminator LED and world time (31TZ/48 cities + UTC) to form a stylish water sports timepiece with sophisticated technology to support the active lifestyle. Other fundamental functions of the watch include four daily alarms and one snooze, 1/100th second stopwatch, two countdown timers, 12/24hr formats and a mute function.
The Casio GLX-150 (SGD147) is available now, while the GWX-8900 (price TBA) will be available from August 2012 onwards, at all Casio G-Factory outlets and authorised dealers.
