Ever since its release, the Air Max became one of the most recognisable and coveted sneaker families. This year, Nike celebrates the power of its innovation by releasing two new versions of Air Max 90: Nike Air Max Lunar90 and Air Max 90 Jacquard.
The Air Max Lunar90 combines two of Nike’s most popular cushioning systems, Nike Lunarlon and Max Air, to offer lightweight comfort and responsive energy return. The upper increases flexibility and breathability, while its compression-molded collar gives a nod to supreme comfort.
The Air Max Jacquard takes on a traditional and age-old method of craft veneer. The jacquard weaving process weaves four coloured yarns through a black base allowing Nike designers to control which colours are expressed on the surface. The detailed process also allows panels and overlays of the Air Max 90 to be replaced by a single piece of fabric that is lighter and more flexible!
The Nike Air Max Lunar90 and Air Max 90 Jacquard will be available in Nike Orchard and Nike @ Bugis Junction, priced at $219 and $239 respectively.
