After the successful launch of its casual bistro, Noshery, in 2016, Nosh invites culinary explorers to rediscover the Greenhouse. From today onwards, the popular outdoor dining space will offer an eclectic mix of cuisines with a brand-new menu that is catered to suit the adventurous palate.
Based in Rochester Park, Nosh is a unique dining destination housing a restaurant, bar and casual bistro in a historic colonial black and white house. Abandon your troubles at the door and slip into an oasis of calm, where you are invited to share memorable moments and celebrate the simple things in life.
The al fresco dining area, known as the Greenhouse, is located on a colonial verandah and surrounded by rich foliage, with subtle lighting for intimate ambience after dark. It is a warm, inviting space where time slows down. Guests can relax on comfortable, resort-style furniture and unwind under the stars, mingling over refreshing cocktails, lingering over a late-night dinner or simply basking in the tranquility of the surroundings.
The new Greenhouse food offerings complement the dining experience by showcasing an array of exciting, globally inspired cuisines. Expect dishes to be elegantly prepared and packed with bold, vibrant flavours.
Beginning with a diverse collection of new small plates that are designed for sharing, diners can indulge in the Soft Shell Crab, which features lightly battered tempura soft shell crab that has been fried to a delicate crisp and accompanied with our signature red coconut curry with popped wild rice and toasted coconut sambal flakes(SGD18); or savour the richness of Ibérico Jowl, a tender cut of pork coated with a sweet and savoury sticky stout glaze and served with pickled kimchi-apple (SGD17).
Diners can also dig into the homemade Thyme Ricotta, a delicious soft cheese served with zesty lemon confit, fresh pomegranate, hazelnuts and crisp crostini chips (SGD10).
As for the mains, the succulent Grilled Pork Rack is served with fried brussel sprouts, quinoa and a rich chipotle-apricot glaze (SGD28), while the Pan Roasted Barramundi is sourced locally, cooked fresh and served with fragrant coconut-tamarind velouté and taro chips (SGD30).
The hearty Lamb Shank Méchoui features a generous serving of flavoursome sweet potato ragout, pearl couscous and spiced pistachio dukkah (SGD29). Diners are welcome to order a mixture of dishes to share or enjoy each dish individually.
Additionally, guests can look forward to an updated cocktail list with carefully selected ingredients that complement the subtle flavours of the new menu. These include the Lanai, a take on the classic tropical Mai Tai, served with house-infused apricot and vanilla rum, housemade pistacho orgeat and fresh lime (SGD19), and the venue’s house cocktail, No9, which features a solid base blend of bourbon, rye and port balanced out by housemade black tea syrup, fresh muddled blueberries and pineapple (SGD19). The restaurant also boasts an exceptional wine list.
