We heard you coffee lovers! This year, for the first time ever, tea and coffee lovers can look forward to having
your tastebuds blown at the inaugural phygital Singapore’s Tea and Coffee Festival taking place both online and offline over nine days, from 28 November to 6 December.
Proudly presented by teapasar, the Singapore Tea and Coffee Festival will be bringing you new flavours and blends with over 50 tea and coffee vendors as well as complementary food and lifestyle products – from Australia, Hongkong, Malaysia, Russia, South Africa, Singapore, Taiwan and United States of America – to enhance your festival experience.
A Phygital Festival
Start your Singapore Tea & Coffee Festival adventure as you go embark on a Singapoliday with an array of phygital experiences available at five participating vendor outlets islandwide. Your tour of new flavours will take you North to Parchmen Academy of Coffee and Tea, East to Camelia Tea Bar, South to teapasar, West to Lemuel Chocolate or Central to The 1872 Clipper Tea Co. When you visit, enjoy three taster cups of tea or coffee at a steal of just $5. That’s not all, you’ll also receive a SGD5 voucher to offset your purchases at sgteacoffee.com. Win-Win I’d say!
Making your Online Experience BREW-tiful
teapasar has also developed a seamless interactive site for web and mobile exploration. Recreating the live event experience, sgteacoffee.com allows you to pop by individual brand pages that function just like brand booths where you can browse available products, prices, and find out more about their brands via virtual real-time chats with the vendors through a zoom call for that personal touch.
Live streams will be happening throughout the nine days, where you can chat with brand owners and find out more about what motivates them to bring you the freshest and most delicious brews. There will also be flash sales to look out for! Keep your eye on teapasar for the full line up.
To kick off the Singapore Tea Coffee Festival, on the 28 November at 11am, join Alan Lai, founder of teapasar and Alisha Barnes from JJ Royal Coffee live on @sgteacoffee website, Instagram or Facebook as they introduce participating brands, workshops and what you can expect during these exciting nine days. Watch for the flash sale during the live stream and get your hands on theSingapore Tea and Coffee Festival goodie box worth SGD75 at an irresistible 50% discount, while stocks last!
Discover your Perfect Blend
Take the guesswork out of the equation and confidently make online purchases of not only tea, but coffee as well. Made possible by the patented ProfilePrint technology that identifies taste profiles based on metabolomic fingerprint and machine-learning algorithm, you can create your personal taste profile online, discover, map and match tea and coffee taste profiles to your own – simply put – we guarantee no buyer’s remorse.
Stock Up Your Pantry with Tasty Treats
Satisfy your tastebuds with a variety of global treats at the festival! Look out for some of last year’s favourite brands as well as new launches such as Pryce Tea’s NOËL Collection that includes an advent calendar of limited-edition blends, Nespresso capsules and even Grab vouchers – a thoughtful gift for the season. If you’re moderating your caffeine intake, consider Botana & Tea Organic Green Mountain Tea – a caffeine-free herbal tea that can only be found in Mediterranean countries. For timeless treasure lovers, explore the Infusion-de-vie aged white tea collection, made from the youngest silver-needle white tea, highly prized for its health benefits and rich flavors which continues to mature over time, becoming sweeter and mellower with age.
Try out some international brands like Taiwanese brand, OKLAO Speciality Coffee – the only coffee chain in Taiwan that produces and sells its own grown coffee (yes, they have coffee estates in Panama and Costa Rica) or if you’re in the festive mood choose a Christmas Coffee Blend inducing hints of cookie dough, honey and blueberry by the Barn, all the way from Germany.
That’s not all! To satisfy your sweet tooth, try chocolates made by local specialty chocolate bar, Lemuel Chocolate, in popular flavours such as toasted cookies and fruity like plums and citrus. Indulge in gluten-free bakes in all-time favourite flavours like Nutella and PBJ by Some Days We Bake, then top it all off with some rich and creamy delights like Oat Coffee and Strawberry Rose Balsamic Gelato by Empirical.
Aside from filling your tummies up with scrumptious delights, Singapore Tea and Coffee Festival provides a line-up of lifestyle products perfect for the gifting season! Treat yourself to some much-deserved coffee-flavoured spa time at home with natural, vegan, cruelty-free and eco-friendly local skincare brand, Maia Botanicals, or enjoy a warm cup of coffee with the 2-in-1 tumbler that functions as a sleek cup and drip coffee maker – who says you can’t do two things at once?
What’s more, you can consolidate your orders from selected brands in one single shipment and pay a fixed flat shipping fee.
There are also eight workshops available for you to choose from. Refine your tastebuds at a tea taster course by Parchmen Academy of Tea and Coffee, create your own tea-flavoured cocktails at a tea mixology workshop by Blue Brew Tea, or join any one of the three (why not all?) workshops offered by the Australian Tea Masters – TEA 101, Online Certificate in Advanced Black Tea Cupping or Online Diploma in Advanced Tea Blending (honestly, you’ll probably come out of this as a tea expert). If you want to try something different, you can join a free virtual DIY Acupressure Massage to help relieve yourself from your late nights with Eight Healer, or head down to Westway for some Craft Chocolate Appreciation with Lemuel Chocolate.
Become a Kombucha expert in just 90 minutes with Fizzicle.
