Journey 2: The Mysterious Island has been opened for a couple of months already and Nookmag had the honour to get exclusive invitations to experience the ride. We all had our fair share of 4D experiences, but Journey 2: The Mysterious Island definitely surprised us. Taking 4D up to a whole new level, we almost believed that we were really part of the crazy adventure with the all-star cast made up of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Michael Caine, Luis Guzman, Josh Hutcherson and Vanessa Hudgens. Throughout the ride, we got soaked, had creepy-crawlies scatter around our feet, blown away with a sweet perfume and staked from the back. The one million dollar project certainly deserved all the praise it managed to rake up.
Sentosa 4D Adventureland, comprising of three rides – Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Desperados and Extreme Log Ride – is open for visitors from 10am to 9pm daily at the Imbiah Lookout. With the purchase of the One-Day Adventure Pass, visitors are given unlimited entries into all three rides. Adult passes are going at SGD$38.90 while child passes are priced at SGD$26.90. Children below three years of age are free to enter but Sentosa Island admission and transport charges still apply upon purchase of the Adventure passes.
