Bicycle enthusiasts, here’s one more reason to keep on cyclin’. Shimano, the world’s leading manufacturer of high quality bicycle components, will officially open Shimano Cycling World in Singapore this September!
Shimano Cycling World is more than a showcase of bicycles. With the multitude of cycling exhibits that you can view, walk through, and interact with, it’s sure to be an experiential and interactive experience. There will also be a moving piece of installation art, dubbed the Dream Machine.
Strolling through the various sections, visitors can learn about the latest developments in cycling technology, how cycling contributes to mobility, one’s well-being and environmental preservation. Viewers can also explore cycling routes in many countries virtually besides cycling paths in Singapore, upload trip journals and share images with a network of enthusiasts and professionals worldwide.
Shimano Cycling World will open its doors to the public on 25 September 2014, 1pm onwards. Starting 26 September, the opening hours for the public are 10am to 8pm on weekdays and 10am to 9pm on weekends and public holidays.
