Adopting cycling as a lifestyle goes beyond engaging the activity as a mere sport. It becomes a culture and an experience that is suited for people from all walks of life, across all age groups. Spurring the interest in cycling, Shimano has launched an interactive and experiential centre of everything cycle-related, named Shimano Cycling World.
The exhibition space aims to drive a sustainable cycling culture in Singapore. It caters to both cycling enthusiasts and visitors who can learn more about the history and technology of bicycles, develop a greater appreciation for cycling and discover their mobility options with this simple device.
Capturing the attention of guests as they enter Shimano Cycling World is an impressive panorama of moving interconnected sprockets and chains. The artwork shows a clockwork of gears in motion and below it is a row of interactive screens where visitors can view images of the joys of cycling.
