To start off my monthly Flavour column, I’ve chosen to feature the brand SWRVE, I won’t blame you if you are not familiar with SWRVE, well I won’t even blame you if you can’t pronouce the brand correctly. (By the way, its pronouce as “SWERVE”)
It is a specialized apparel brand that produces stylish urban cycling apparel quite similar to our local PEONFX. Inspired by cyclist duo Matt & Muriel back in 2005 simply becasue they don’t look good in spandex. Never the less, they did incorporate spandex into their fabric.
SWRVE produces a complete range of apparels from shorts, jackets to accesories however what I would like to feature today are their Lightweight wwr shorts and Ciggarette Shorts.
I recently got my hands on a pair of Lightweight wwr shorts and I must admit it feels pretty comfortable not to mention its all-weather proof, made from water & wind repellant lightweight twill, its perfect for our S.E.A weather.
The Ciggarette shorts on the other hand are made from extra stretchy cotton which is extremely comfortable and has no threat of precipitation.
The pricing is not exactly friendly to your wallet with the RRP ~ SGD120 /pair but it did miraculously made my “short” legs looks longer due to its trim cut and that’s definitely worth the price.
