Singapore’s premier Sneaker and Streetwear convention returns for the 5th consecutive year this November, taking over the entire new Zouk Singapore complex at Clarke Quay.
The previous 2016 edition drew a record turnout of over 4,000 attendees, eliciting plenty of social media bouquets and laudatory Vlog and media post-event reviews.
International Vloggers 小 屁孩 Xiao Pi Hai (Malaysia) and AdityalogyTV were awestruck by the ‘heat’, hype and the turnout witnessed; both in agreement that Sole Superior was a “crazy” experience. Blogger MianBaoBreadPan raved that Sole Superior “gets bigger and better than the previous year” while Highsnobiety documented the “best sneakers worn” for a 2nd consecutive year, emplacing Sole Superior (and Singapore) firmly in the realm of globally recognized sneaker conventions.
Attendees this year can expect trademark curation of vendors-blending global brands with local retailers, alongside independent labels, artists, community groups and individual collectors. As always, only the rarest, freshest, priciest sneaker and streetwear heat to be found in single venue – from the highly coveted to the absolute holy grails.
Highlights For The 2017 Edition
A full day of treats, surprises, fun and all round great vibes with over SGD30,000 worth of products to be given away. Also, be excited for an exclusive “head-to-toe” capsule of Sole Superior collaboration merchandise with international brands New Era, XLARGE and Novesta and Singapore independents Freshly Pressed Socks and Pras the Bandit. Produced in highly limited quantities and created specially to celebrate Sole Superior turning 5, expect these collaborations items to be snapped up fast.
For the partygoers, look forward to the first ever official Sole Superior Afterparty. Jointly presented in partnership with Moonbeats Asia and held in a secret warehouse location in Tai Seng, the afterparty will be headlined by Fool’s Gold Records artist Falcons’ Singapore debut. Throw up those flame emojis because it’s going to be mad lit with bangin’ dancehall, electronica and hip hop grooves to accompany drinking, dancing, giveaways and surprises galore till the early morning.
