In the film, Jude Law falls in love with the car and waged a bet with Giancarlo Giannini. If he can drive it to Monaco by noon the next day, the Delahaye 135S classic racer belongs to him. During the journey, Jude encounters his fair share of challenges. With the kind acts of those he meets along the way and the gratitude he shows them in return (not forgetting the joy this generates), he makes it to the finish line on time and ultimately succeeds.
