Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has made headlines once again! Other than supporting Kanye West on his road to presidency, the billionaire is working on another out of this world project – a chip to be implanted in the brain for various reasons, and streaming music is one of them. Only the whackiest project from Elon Musk!
The Neuralink involves implanting flexible threads of electrodes into the brain which will pick up the neuronal signals blasted by our brains and transmit them to a computer. Musk believe that this next-generation advancement will lead to the cure of many neurological diseases, including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
After posting a tweet to recruit more revolutionary minds to work for Neuralink, a user on Twitter had Musk confirm on the unconventional way of streaming music.

Neuralink has long been in the works with a livestream session already available in 2019, where Musk revealed the use of laser to implant the electrodes instead of (shudders) drilling the skull.
With the success of SpaceX, all eyes are on Musk and his team to revolutionise not only the field of neurology and technology, but also the way we enjoy our tunes in the future. If you are an engineer, hop on the train! For more info, visit the website.
