Come 18 August, wind down with an evening filled with dreamy, unplugged soundscapes, set against lush greenery in the heart of town. The next installment of Fred Perry Subculture’s music initiative, Sub-Sonic Live is set to satisfy your cravings for an evening of live music extraordinaire.
Sub-Sonic Live @ The Lawn strips music to its bare essentials for an intimate, acoustic live music experience put up by Singapore’s brightest homegrown musicians which includes lead singer of indie band Plainsunset, Jon Chan and singer-ukuleleist Wei Shan (Weish), enthralling twee pop tunes from Pleasantry, Charlie Lim’s heartstring vocals and an unique collaboration between indie folk singer-songwriter Nick Chim and dynamic duo Aarika and Kevin from funk and soul outfit, SIXX.
Now, it isn’t Sub-Sonic Live without the harmonising of enchanting visuals together with the live music.
Painting the lawn psychedelic with her signature kaleidoscopic illustrations is pencil pusher Kristal Melson and pioneering visualist Brandon Tay from Syndicate who will inject pops of vigor and pixel joy as he animates the expansive illustration showcase.
At Sub-Sonic Live, the night stays forever young! Party on at Zouk after the show with indie poppers Poptart at Velvet Underground Dance!
